MOAYExLAB CUP KAZAN: Sunday, the 18th May 2025, was the day when we blew the whistle to kick-start the first MOAYExLAB CUP in Kazan. This first edition of this summer tournament is organized by LA AFRO BAILAR in partnership with MOAYE BOUTIQUE. The tournament is to promote unity, community, and sport among young Africans and their friends from other nations, particularly those living in Kazan. Twelve teams of ten registers to participate, namely : Egypt, Chipolopolo, Torpedos , New Generation, Young Talent, Tunisia, Abass, Zol Barber, Nigeria, Palops, Ivoire, Mavericks (which didn’t show up and were later replaced by Guinea.
Воскресенье, 18 мая 2025 года, стало днем, когда мы дали старт первому турниру MOAYExLAB CUP в Казани. Этот первый летний турнир организован LA AFRO BAILAR в партнерстве с бутиком MOAYE. Цель турнира – способствовать единству, общности и развитию спорта среди молодых африканцев и их друзей из других стран, особенно тех, кто живет в Казани. Для участия регистрируются двенадцать команд по десять человек, а именно : Egypt, Chipolopolo, Torpedos , New Generation, Young Talent, Tunisia, Abass, Zol Barber, Nigeria, Palops, Ivoire, Mavericks (которые так и не появились и позже были заменены Guinea)

Just a few minutes into the qualifiers, during the Tunisia versus Egypt game, an unfortunate incident happen that would change the fate of the finals. One player, from team Tunisia, fouls Muhammed (Egypt ) and a scuffle breaks out. Fortunately it didn’t escalate an in about two minutes, everyone from both teams were calm. However, the damage had already been done. The other teams were calling for both teams to to be disqualified. Rule 6-10: A fight equals forfeiture of the current match for the offending team. The committee was left with a tough decision to point out who the offending team was, Tunisa or Egypt. Muhammed had been fouled – we later found out the foul play had broken his arm, hence the abrupt reaction from his teammates, and on the other hand, Egypt ( the team ) had jumped in to scuffle. Who was the offender? After about 5 minutes of shouting, and hollering ( especially from the other teams) , Tunisia decided to voluntarily step-down, to allow the tournament to continue. Respectable action from the Tunisian brothers! Story to be continued in the next chapter. Oh by the way, Happy Birthday, Mufaro !
Всего через несколько минут после начала отборочного турнира, во время матча Тунис – Египет, произошел неприятный инцидент, который мог изменить исход финального матча. Один из игроков нарушил правила на Мохаммеде (Египет), что привело к потасовке. К счастью, ситуация не обострилась, и примерно через две минуты все представители обеих команд были спокойны. Однако ущерб уже был нанесен. Другие команды требовали дисквалификации обеих команд. Правило 6-10: Драка равносильна поражению в текущем матче для команды-нарушителя. Комитету пришлось принять непростое решение о том, кто же был нарушителем – тунисская команда или египетская. На Мохаммеде был зафиксирован фол – позже мы узнали, что он сломал руку, из-за чего произошла такая резкая реакция, – а с другой стороны, команда Египта (Egypt) вмешалась в драку. Примерно через 5 минут криков и орущих воплей (особенно со стороны других команд) Тунис решил добровольно уйти в отставку, чтобы позволить турниру продолжиться.
